Our Mission
To provide accessible evidence based information, support and treatment for people who are experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, benzodiazepine or analgesic dependency and related problems.
To provide this through:
- information and telephone support
- counselling and group programs
- education and training for health professionals
- community awareness & education

To achieve our mission and objectives, Reconnexion will over the next three years explore ways of:
- Improving accessibility to treatment services, especially for groups such as young people, people living in Melbourne's growth areas, and people in regional and rural Victoria
- Developing Australia wide information services particularly for those with benzodiazepine dependency
- Building its reputation via relationships with universities and researchers
- Building strong relationships and referral pathways with other service providers such as GPs and mental health service providers
